ITANAGAR, Apr 23: Former president Itanagar Market Welfare Association (IWMA) Bamang Taji, who had rescued two bears ( male and female) and a monkey from Yachuli and Sagalee, handed over the animals to the Biological Park, Itanagar. The sibling bears were rescued from the clutches of hunters and kept under proper care in the private residence of Taji for a few weeks. Meanwhile, Raya Flago, Curator, Biological Park Itanagar has appreciated Taji on behalf of the department of Environment and Forests. “We hope and request him to continue his noble mission of saving these endangered animals,” he added.
