ITANAGAR, Mar 15:Adviser to Chief Minister Tai Tagak has said that promotion of Hindi language in Arunachal won’t be hard as the people have already accepted it from their heart and soul. He said this while attending the concluding session of the two day Regional Rajbhasa Sammelan of All India Radio at Itanagar today.
Tagak said, “due to our facial appearance people in other parts of the country often see us as foreigners, but when we start speaking we are more Indian than anyone else and patriotism is in the blood of every Arunachalee”. He informed that in order to promote the Rajbhasa more in the state Chief Minister Pema Khandu has recently revived the Arunachal Nagarik Sansthan and renamed it as Arunachal Hindi Sansthan.
Sailendra Kumar, Additional Director General, Admin and Programme, All India Radio, Satya Prakash Joint Director, Rajbhasha, and Mitali Chetarjee, DDG AIR Guwahati and representatives from AIR stations in North East participated in the event.
The two day conference was conducted with the aim to discuss the aspects and opportunities of Hindi language in the North East India. This was for the second time that All India Radio Itanagar has hosted the conference.
