TAWANG, Apr 4: One day Regional Level Meeting of State Election Commissioners was held at Tawang today. The meeting was chaired by R Parasuram, SEC, Madhya Pradesh, who is also the chairman of Standing Committee and it was attended by State Election Commissioners from Delhi, Chandigarh, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. The programme was jointly hosted by State Election Commission of Arunachal Pradesh and district administration. The day saw deliberations on local body elections and ways on improving the same. A comparative study on the practice among states was also done. DC Tawang and Secretary, SEC took part in the proceedings apart from others.
