HOLLONGI, Jul 3:Minister of Land Management, SJETA, etc, Nabam Rebia visited Hollongi Patila village which was reportedly inundated due to heavy downpour on Monday. He was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Dr.Joram Beda, ADC In-Charge cum EAC Nabam Tajik,  all concerned head of departments and Dy Commandant 12th Bn NDRF Pranab Daimary .           

The Minister inspected the affected area and interacted with the locals and assured every possible solution to their problem. He directed the EE WRD to workout the plan to protect the area from further inundation.              

On receiving reports of skin allergies from locals and in order to prevent outbreak of diseases, the DC directed the District Medical Officer, Papum Pare to arrange to deploy team of specialist medical officers on the spot to monitor the situation and give healthcare facility to the affected people. As per the team’s observation 16-17 houses have been affected causing untold miseries to the inhabitants.
