YUPIA, Jan 2: Minister for Land Management, Forest and Environment, Women and Child Development, SJETA cum Local MLA -14 Doimukh Constituency, Nabam Rebia made a whirlwind visit to all ongoing developmental works sites in Yupia and Doimukh areas today.  He was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Joram Beda, Executive Engineer UD & Housing and other head of departments. 
Taking stock of the ongoing works at Multipurpose Sports Stadium which has a seating capacity of 15000 people  at Yupia, the minister directed the executing agency to expedite the construction works and said that ‘this will be a great asset for the district and state as a whole and this should be an  epitome of excellence’.
Stressing on making Yupia a model district headquarters, Rebia said that it should be kept free from any encroachment and other unplanned activities. Talking to the youths at Yupia, the minister also appealed them to always adhere to the technicalities and quality of works keeping in view importance of the project. 
At Doimukh, he also inspected the ongoing CC road works and strictly instructed the executing department and the contractors to always maintain the technical standard and not to compromise with the quality of works. He also visited the IB, CHC, Doimukh and site of District Hospital.
