Yupia, Mar 30: Er. Ratu Techi of BJP has been officially declared as elected unopposed from 15- Sagalee (ST) Assembly Constituency by the Returning Officer for 15 Sagalee. This comes after the completion of the nomination process including the last date of withdrawal of candidates who had filled nomination which came to end today. 
Er. Ratu Techi was the lone candidate who filed nomination for 15-Sagalee (ST) Assembly Constituency with incumbent MLA  Nabam Tuki opting out to contest as Congress candidate for MP from 1-Arunachal Western Parliament Constituency.
​Meanwhile, Techi Kaso has also been declared as elected unopposed from 13-Itanagar (ST) Assembly Constituency by the Returning Officer Itanagar, Capital complex. Techi Kaso remained the only candidate for 13- Itanagar after the nomination paper of his lone rival candidate Tai Tadap of NPP was rejected during the scrutiny of the nomination papers.
​14 Doimukh will witness a contest between the sitting BJP MLA Tana Hali Tara, PPA candidate Nabam Vivek and INC candidate Nabam Tado. 
In a press briefing held today in the chamber of the DC cum RO Itanagar 13- Itanagar(ST) AC, Shweta Nagarkoti, informed that voting for the election to the Lok Sabha will be held on 19th April 2024 and requested the denizens to come forward and to exercise their adult franchise on the poll day. She has further appealed to the denizens of Capital Itanagar to abide by the Model Code of Conduct till the completion of the election.
 Further highlighting that the FST, SST, VST,VVT,EEM,LMT, Accounting team and others are carrying out checking drives etc to ensure the implementation of the MCC, the RO has requested the denizens to cooperate with the Administration and the entire team of officers and officials carrying out their election duties for the successful conduct of the simultaneous election 2024.
