ITANAGAR, May 22: 
CC Pavement road from A sector Naharlagun to Lower Rakap Colony was inaugurated today by Deputy Commissioner Capital Complex Prince Dhawan amidst the presence of EAC Itanagar Hengo Basar, EAC Naharlagun Hento Karga, CO Aying Perme, DDMO Moromi Dodum Sonam, Councillor Taba Takia and other residents of the colony.
 
With the inauguration of the road, the DC hoped that it will serve the purpose of facilitating better communication between the residents of the colony to the main road. Further, the road will also ease communication to other villages through the colony.
He also expressed happiness and satisfaction as earlier when he had come to inspect the area, he had promised the residents for a CC road. He lauded the Councillor that the standard of work has been maintained. 
 
He also lauded the officers from the District Administration for ensuring that the Untied fund is being utilised for the purpose of the development of society.
 
Taba Takia Councillor said that he had been running after the project for the last three years and thanked the DC for giving priority to the project. He also lauded the DC for equally prioritising road, health and education sector. He further hoped that the Capital Complex will see major developments during his tenure.
 
The DC also visited the road leading to Kongkra village where the villagers are working on self help basis to construct the road leading to their village and sought help from DC for the same. They also apprised the DC about the various problems of the village including electricity to which DC assured to look into the matter.
During the programme, the Councillor also submitted a memorandum to the DC.
