ITANAGAR, Jan 11: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) Spokesperson Harish Shankar Gupta revealed that the Congress party is set to organize the "Bharat Jodo-Nyay Yatra" in Arunachal Pradesh, along with other north-eastern states.
The former AICC President and Member of Parliament, Rahul Gandhi, will actively participate in the Nyay Yatra, joined by AICC President and other prominent leaders, he added.
Gupta informed the media that permissions from various state governments have already been secured for the peaceful Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, aimed at raising awareness among the masses about the alleged destructive impact of the current BJP-RSS led central government. He emphasized the need to awaken the people of India regarding the erosion of communal harmony, national integration, and what he termed as the anti-development stance of the ruling party.
‘The Yatra is scheduled to commence on January 14th from Imphal, and tentatively reach Itanagar on January 20th covering approximately 55km each day. Despite facing technical challenges, Gupta pointed out that the Congress party is determined to carry out the Yatra, even as the central government reportedly attempts to disrupt the proceedings with its administrative power in various states.
Expressing concern over the alleged divisive tactics employed by the BJP-RSS alliance, Gupta urged the citizens of Arunachal Pradesh to actively join the Yatra and support the Congress party's mission to restore harmony and promote national unity.
