ITANAGAR, Apr 2:A cleanliness fortnight drive under “Swachhta pakhwada - 2018 swaachata se siddhi”, campaign was inaugurated today by Mission Director Dr Tapasya Raghav. Director Family welfare Dr K. Lego, Joint Director Dr Saibal Bhattacharjee , Deputy Director FW and other officials were present on the occasion.
Administering the pledge, Raghav gave a clarion call for sustaining cleanliness and stated that the cleanliness of streets, public place and especially in health system is a matter of pride and is often regarded as barometer of trust for better healthcare delivery. Raghav also called for need to bring positive behavioural change among the community to sustain the culture of cleanliness.
Director Family welfare DR K lego also spoke on the occasion and highlighted the importance of the programme.
