RAGA, Nov 22: 25th Raga AC MLA Tarin Dakpe undertook a four-day visit to Raga and Kamporijo Circles of his home constituency to inspect the ongoing development activities and ascertain the needs of the people.
On November 17 last, the MLA along with Deputy Commissioner Kamle and other HoDs visited Tamen-Dollungmukh NEC road which has been lying defunct for many years and assured its early construction works. He also inspected PMGSY road to Mengi Kabak village under Kamporijo Circle and visited Kamle Hydropower Project under Tamen-Boa-simla (1800MW ) being executed by Jindal Power Limited. The following day, Dakpe chaired a developmental meeting with all HoDs of Kamle district and urged them to work as a team and not to compromise on quality of works and exhorted them to make Raga a model headquarters with all basic amenities. On the same day, he also had a meeting with the team of hydropower land affected people, officers from Jindal Power Ltd and all senior citizens where there was unanimity for early start of the project. Inspection of offices and Raga Government Higher Secondary School was carried out by the MLA on November 19.
On November 20, he inaugurated the School Week of Boa-simla Government Higher Secondary School and conducted meeting with SMC, Principal and senior citizens of the area to discuss ways to make the school a model one. DIPRO
