Indian Army conducts ‘Know Your Army’ outreach
Itanagar, Jan 12: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra along with Seva Aapke Dwar camp covering Jollang and Chimpu area was conducted today at Govt upper Primary School Jollang.
MLA Techi Kaso inaugurated the camp in the presence of ZPM Taro Tagia, Deputy Commissioner Capital Itanagar Talo Potom , ADC Shweta Nagarkoti and a host of other officers, officials and public.
Various Departments of the state government participated in the camp and brought their services to the citizens residing in and around Jollang area.
During the camp interacting with the beneficiaries, the Chief Guest and the DC urged the public to avail the services provided by various departments. They visited every department and appreciated the services provided to the people.
The Chief Guest also handed over certificates and other important benefits to the beneficiaries. He also administered the pledge on Hamara Sankalp Viksit Bharat to the denizens who had enthusiastically participated in the program.
The highlight of the day was painting competition conducted amongst the students of class VI to VIII of GUPS Jollang witnessing enthusiastic participation of the students.
EAC Itanagar cum Nodal Officer, Khoda Lasa informed that around 1700 beneficiaries were benefited by the camp, availing various services. Many departments participated in the VBSY and Seva Aapke Dwar camp today making it a grand success.
