MVAC is demanding immediate reinvestigation basing on the FIR filed by the three wives of late Pul, step down of CM Pema Khandu, Deputy CM Chowna Mein and Spokesperson PD Sona and return of Rs 4 crore paid to PD Sona as mentioned in the alleged note.

Addressing the media today, Convener MVAC Kaling Tasing opined that the proposed rally would be part of its democratic movement against non responsive attitude of the state government towards their demand. Further appealing likeminded people, well-wishers, NGOs, students organizations to join the movement ,he informed that the rally will begin from Akashdeep  and culminate at the Tennis Court, IG Park.

Expressing concern over security of the family members of the former CM, MVAC asserted that if any untoward incident happens to the family, the persons whose names figured in the alleged suicide note will be held responsible.

‘Due to involvement of high profile people in this case people in the government and others don’t want to speak on the issue,’ lamented Pul’s wife Dangwimsai Pul. ‘There is no political motive but I want that the case should end conclusively,’ she added while appealing people to support her cause in seeking justice for her late husband.

‘If authority will not respond to our demand, we may go to any extent to get justice for the people’s Chief Minister,’ stated Spokesperson MVAC, Tarh Atung  while adding  that  ‘Mere Vichaar’ should be read as  ‘Sabka Vichaar’  to fight corruption that prevail in society and in the system.
