ITANAGAR, Dec 27: The peace coordination committee for PRC deprived people of Changlang and Namsai districts in a release urged the state government not to succumb to the demands for withdrawal of announcement to grant PRC to non-APST tribes made by various organizations, societies and individuals, etc.
“We hope that the government will not roll back the decision and issue PRCs as per the commitment in January without a second thought,” it said in the release.
It also appealed to organizations, society and political parties that are opposing the decision without knowing the actual fact and miseries of the deprived people to deeply study and examine the realities of their origin and genealogy.
“Without knowing the truth, unnecessary blame and objection may trigger communal tension amongst the people and disrupt peace and harmony of our peaceful state,” it asserted.
