ITANAGAR, May 6: The PRI leaders of Hiba and II anchal segment under Nyobia circle of Kurung Kumey has alleged that the concern executing department RWD has illegally awarded the construction work of PWD road to Langrik under RWD laying Yangte Division to an incompetent firm and started executing the work in contempt of the direction of the High Court Itanagar Branch not to continue the tender work before the hearing of the case due on May 12 next.

There is writ petition pending in the high court with regard to the illegality in awarding of the contract after locals reported anomalies in the whole tender process to chief secretary, informed the PRIs in a release.

Further the PRIs have strongly appealed to the state government in particular Chief Secretary to intervene and stop the illegal corruption activities.
