ITANAGAR, Jun 18: As a part of its ongoing effort to support the healthcare departments of various states across India in battling the Covid-19 pandemic, Pernod Ricard India Foundation has donated 5 ICU ventilators, 10 fowler beds and 5000 surgical masks to Arunachal Pradesh.
Talking about the initiative, VP-Corporate Affairs, Pernod Ricard India Sunil Duggal said they are committed to support the state governments in reducing the demand-supply gap in the currently overstrained healthcare system by extending various protective solutions including ventilators, ICU beds, PPE kits, sanitizers and masks. Secretary (Excise), GoAP Anirudh Singh said the valuable contribution will go a long way in strengthening the state’s healthcare infrastructure.
PRI Foundation has pledged Rs. 15 crores towards development of both critical and preventive healthcare infra across the country in fighting the pandemic and till now the state health departments have been provided with more than 4 lakh medical masks, PPE kits, 4 lakh litres of alcohol-based hand sanitizers, thermal scanners, etc. for use by the healthcare professionals and frontline fighters.
