YUPIA, Feb 18: 1st phase of training of Presiding Officers appointed for the upcoming simultaneous Election 2019 of Papum Pare district began at Siddhartha Hall, Itanagar today. 
Deputy Commissioner –Cum-DEO Papum Pare Dr. Joram Beda, IAS monitored the whole training process.
CO/ AERO Itanagar- Cum- District Nodal Officer (Training) Likha Radh imparted training through power point presentation  on subject like Poll day arrangement, Poll party and PWD, and EVM/VVPAT during the session. 
Altogether, 212 Presiding Officers appointed for the purpose attended the training. The Presiding Officers plays important role in successful conduct of the Election and are responsible for the conduct of the Ballot in the polling stations.
Simultaneously, First level checking (FLC) of EVMs also started at office of Department of Election at Yupia today.  The ECIL (Electronics Corporation of India Ltd) engineers conducted physical inspection of all EVMs, Ballot Unit and Control Unit Diagnosis, Vote Casting, CRC (closed Result clear) of EVMs. 
During the process, the representatives from various Political Parties were also present to witness the FLC. DIPRO
