TEZU, Apr 9:Pre recruitment training for the youths of Lohit and Anjaw started with the inaugural programme attended by Colonel Vikram Singh Nalawade Commanding Officer of 20th Madras Regiment Chongkham as Chief Guest and SDO Tezu Kajal Karmakar as Guest of Honour at College Auditorium of IGGC, Tezu, here today.
The 20th Madras Regiment Chongkham in collaboration with District Administrations of Lohit and Anjaw will conduct pre recruitment rally at Indira Gandhi Government College Ground at Tezu with effect from April 9-25 next to facilitate the unemployed and interested local youths to qualify in the actual Army Recruitment Rally which is scheduled on May 10-13 May next at Jairampur.
Names of 68 candidates were enrolled as of today, the figure is likely to increase in coming days.
Necessary physical trainings along with theory classes for written examinations will be provided. All the trainings will be provided free of cost.
