YUPIA, Feb 6:

A consultation meeting with all heads of department and administrative officers was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Tai Kaye today to discuss the preparatory work for Budget 2018-19 of Papum Pare district.
        

Presiding over the meeting, Kaye explained the aims and objective of the meeting and interacted with all the heads of department and administrative officers and advised them to come up with their preparation for budget 2018-19 which should be developmental oriented one.  
       

During the discussion he also took stock of present status of education department of ensuing state board exam and performance of smart class room and asked the DDSE and concerned administrative officer to ensure its proper implementation and to ensure that all defunct school be made functional.  He directed all administrative officers to act proactively and to maintain proper knowledge of respective areas besides proper monitoring of all government flagship programmes.  
        

Taking serious note  of non-supply of foodgrains stock  at Tarraso circle, DC Tai Kaye  directed the civil supply department  to ensure that proper supply of food items be delivered to people of the circle on time failing which strict action will be initiated against the suppliers.

 

He also asked the department to inform the DC and SP immediately if they are facing problem in transportation of food items via road from Assam. SP Papum Pare, Tumme Amo also pointed out the hardship faced by the police personnel due to non-availability of ration items in remote areas of Tarasso  and suggested that department must maintain buffer stock  at Tarasso circle before the onset of rainy season. 
               

Dr. Tasso Kampu Subu, DMO, Yupia appealed all the heads of department and administrative to cooperate in proper implementation of MRVC where every child from 0 to 15 years will be vaccinated for Measles- Rubella. She also sought the cooperation of district administration in making functional Yupia Dispensary so that people can avail the medical facility.
