ZIRO, Jan 8: The much awaited 2-laning work of the Potin to Pangin section of NH-13 which will cover the stretch from 44.3 km to 77.9 km formally kicked off today with the performance of ‘Bhumi Puja’ near Police Beat Gate at Hapoli.
The construction activity is a part of ‘Arunachal Pradesh Package of Roads and Highways of SARDP-NE on EPC Mode (Package-2)’ and is expected to fulfil a long-standing dream of thousands of residents of the Ziro-Hapoli township.
The ceremony was witnessed by the Managing Director of Alliance Engineering & Consultants, the executing agency Puna Hinda, its Project Director P.M. Roymon and Trideep Changmai. Formation cutting has begun and the land owners are extending full cooperation.
The officials of the executing agency have sought cooperation from the people for smooth and timely completion of the project. PRO NH-13
