RAGA, Sep 4: Along with the rest of the country Rashtriya Poshan Maah under the flagship program ‘Poshan Abhiyaan’ was launched at Raga Anganwadi Center by EAC Hage Tarung today.
He administered the poshan pledge to all the officers, Anganwadis workers, ASHAs  and health workers present during the launch.
The observation of the Rashtriya Poshan maah aims at improving the nutritional status of children, adolescent girls, pregnant women and lactating mothers.
Earlier on Tuesday, the district convergence committee meeting cum preparatory meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Moki Loyi, to finalize the list of events and program for the Rashtriya Poshan Maah. 
Accordingly the entire month of September will involve activities like poshan melas, pashan rallys , awareness programs, anemia camps and VHSND etc across Kamle district. DIPRO
