ITANAGAR, Apr 20:

The department of Women & child development has launched a website portal ‘Track Child 2.0, Khoya-Paya’ to check illegal child trafficking and to help parents register complaints to track their missing children.

In this regards, a two day training programme under Juvenile Justice Act to impart information about the use of the website was organized today for Child Protection Officers, Juvenile Justice Boards, Child Welfare Committees, Child Care Institutions at ATI, Naharlagun.

Speaking on the occasion, Director, W&CD, TP Loyi expressed hope that all participants will go back to their respective places with complete knowledge of theoretical procedure to achieve the objectives.

 Highlighting the significance of Web Portal , SIO, NIC, Itanagar, Jyotish Roy informed that the project was implemented in West Bengal as pilot project and now is being implemented all over the country due to its success and urgency concerning missing children and safety of children.

Chief Guest, Secretary WCD, Madhu K.Garg elaborated in detail about the importance of implementation of Track Child System to track the missing and found children. She exhorted the participants to avail maximum benefit of the training programme.
