CHANGLANG, Feb 16: Local MLA Tesam Pongte on Saturday inaugurated series of newly constructed infrastructures here today in presence of Deputy Commissioner, RK Sharma, SP J K Lego, and HoDs.
The infrastructure includes Research Office building executed by UD Department under SADA, double storey OPD building of the District Hospital constructed by PWD, Changlang under MsDP, conference hall of at Labour Union Office etc.
Pongte while handing over the asset to the public expressed hope that the additional infrastructure created under the health sector will help the physicians in delivering better public health services.
Meanwhile the DC assured that the district administration will take up with the state government for the posting of specialist doctors and anaesthetist to the district.
Stating medical waste management as vital, he asked the medical authorities to take utmost care in disposing medical wastes.
