YUPIA, Oct 8: As a part of the run up to the 46th APP Raising  Day on November 8,  Papum Pare Superintendent of Police Tumme Amo  conducted a quiz competition on laws like Indian Penal Code (IPC), Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC), Investigation Evidence Act (IEA) and Minor Acts related to POCSO, etc  among the  Officer In-charges, Investigating Officers  and Police personnel  at SP office, Yupia  here today.
Five teams comprising Crime Branch, SP office, Yupia, Police Stations Kimin, Sagalee, Balijan and Doimukh participated which saw Doimukh Police Station emerge as the winner.
Earlier, SP Amo opined that such activities will help in motivating the personnel to build up their knowledge and self confidence by keeping themselves updated on laws and its implications. He exhorted the officers and police personnel to keep themselves active and updated on various laws to perform their work in a better way.
Earlier, the SP also conducted a monthly crime review meeting with Officers In-Charges and Investigating Officers of Balijan, Sagalee, Kimin and Doimukh to discuss and review the pending cases and reason for pendency and necessary instructions were given to OCs and IOs.
