ITANAGAR, May 4: The Capital Police in collaboration with 138th BN CRPF conducted a four-day long refresher training course on the handling of anti-riot equipment and anti-riot drills at 138bn CRPF camp Senki View, Itanagar.
A total of 53 officers including SP Capital, SDPO's Ita/Nlg, all OCs/PSs Capital Complex and others were imparted basics of handling of anti-riot arms and equipment. Practical firing practice was also imparted.
“Such training was felt necessary for personnel in view of recent large scale violence during anti- PRC protest and to maintain peace, law, and order in a more effective way. More such training will be conducted in the coming days,” SP, Tumme Amo stated in a release.
