Itanagar, Aug 7: The Department of Finance, Planning & investment, (Monitoring Division) and team from State Remote Sensing Application Centre held a workshop-cum-hands on training on satellite based monitoring and Geo-tagging of Arunachal Monitoring Web Portal for monitoring developmental projects of the Arunachal Police Housing /Police Department (PHQ) at Police Head Quarters’ Conference Hall, Itanagar.
The use of Geo-tagging is one of the latest technology systems to monitor projects and developmental activities in the State which helps in creating a single platform for data sharing amongst all stake holders. It provides one stop solution for all information regarding the execution of projects visualizing the photographs, location of each projects.
Geo-tagging of projects has been made mandatory by the state government.
The Workshop training were attended by the Dr. H.K Dutta, Director, SRSAC, Er. Tumme Amo, SP(Capital), Sh. Jimmy Chiram, IPS, SP( Pakke Kesang) ,DySP’s from various Districts and team of Engineers from Arunachal Police Housing, PHQ, Itanagar headed by Er. Marging Jakre, i/c Chief Engineer Police Housing.
