NAHARLAGUN, Apr 21:Four youths were arrested in connection with two wheeler lifting cases from Naharlagun and Nirjuli area by a team of capital police under active direction of SP Capital Tumme Amo  on Thursday.

Acting on a tip off, the SP along with support provided by Sub Inspector, PS, Naharlagun , Balkar Singh prepared a plan to nab the bike lifters owing to repeated complaints made by residents  of adjoining areas of Nahrlagun and Nirjuli.

After rigorous search and following information provided by few people, the team successfully apprehended one ring leader, Sheeter Tolum Lamgu and later arrested three others  and  also recovered three Scooty’s  from their possession.

A case have been registered at Naharlagun PS vide No 49/17 u/s- 379, 411, 34 IPC and all of them were produced before JMFC, Yupia and remanded to police custody for further interrogation.
