ITANAGAR, Jun 4: Taking strong exception of fake messages in social media, Arunachal Pradesh Police Cyber Cell has issued a press statement  appealing people to stay away from creating fake news and forwarding any content that is disruptive to peace and tranquility.
In its communiqué, Superintendent of Police, Cyber Cell, Dr. NS  Brar urged the denizens not to post, share, forward any content, pictures, photos, videos that could promote enmity amongst communities on the ground of religion, nationality, languages etc.
Cyber Cell has warned stern action against the person as per the laid down laws like Sec. 153, 153(A), 153(B), 182,188 IPC, and other relevant laws.
