BASAR, Mar 1: In compliance with the instruction received from Chief Secretary, the Leparada district administration has constituted a 20-member Peace Committee comprising of Deputy Commissioner Leparada as Chairman, Superintendent of Police, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Extra Assistant Commissioner, all Head of Departments, former PRI members and community based organizations of Leparada District.
DC Duly Kamduk briefed regarding the present state of affairs and further advised all members to disseminate the information regarding the decision of present government to drop the issue of Permanent Residence Certificate to the non APST residing in Namsai and Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh.
ADC Hento Karga also narrated the genesis of PRC issue to the house. DIPRO
