ITANAGAR, Jul 20: Taking strong exception on the breach  of earlier   order issued by the capital district administration and district magistrate on the restriction of  any kinds of activities near the intake point and upstream of the Senki river, Capital police today intensified its  patrolling in the area.
Despite  order from DM, it has been reported that many  people  still visit  the river and indulge in different kind of activities that may contaminate the river, informed  a security officer who was part of the patrolling team.
The district magistrate has issued prohibitory order under CrPC 144 and prohibited all such activities in the greater interest of the public. Therefore we have started patrolling and cautioned violators to abide by the order or else legal action, added the officer.
