ITANAGAR, Jan 21: One died on the spot and many received grievous injuries when an Itanagar bound Tata Winger packed with passengers met with an accident near Golajuri area under Laluk Police station, Assam. The passenger vehicle bearing registration number AR-09A—7658 was on its way from Pasighat to Itanagar when it met with the accident. Identities of the deceased and those injured are yet to be ascertained till the filing of this report.
The injured have been shifted to the nearest hospital for treatment. Police seized the vehicle and have launched an investigation into the incident, according to sources.
