PASIGHAT, Oct 28: The Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Pasighat which represented East Siang district in the state level Role Play & Folk Dance Competition on Population Education-2018 organized at Naharlagun by the population education cell of SCERT won the first position.
A six member students from KGBV Pasighat led by escort teacher, Nayang Nonang participated in the state level competition where they performed a dance with a song theme: drug abuse. The song on which the KGBV students performed was sung by renowned singer, Delong Padung along with Nayang Nonang, Joymoti Tasung, and scripted by Delong Padung and music by Nepthely Megu.
The same team from KGBV will now represent Arunachal Pradesh in the national level competition to be held sometime during December next, informed sources from KGBV.
