ITANAGAR, May 11: Arunachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority (APSLSA) organised a one day Para Legal Volunteers Training for students of Arunachal Law Academy, Lekhi today at Tadar Taniang hall, Vivek Vihar, Itanagar.
Member Secretary, APSLSA, Budi Habung while welcoming the participants to the programme gave a brief introduction on functioning of Legal Services Authority in Arunachal Pradesh. Resource persons spoke on Child Rights by highlighting on Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection) Act, 2000 & Amendment Act, 2015 and Sexual Abuse, Law relating to Sexual Abuse especially on Protection of Children from Sexual Offence (POCSO) Act, 2012, Principle of Criminal Law, Principle of Civil Law and Proceedings etc.
District & Sessions Judge, Yupia, Jaweplu Chai, Advocate, Gauhati High Court, Itanagar Permanent Bench, Sunil Mow were among the resource persons. APSLSA release
