YUPIA, Jan 31: Deputy Commissioner Papum Pare District, Pige Ligu conducted a coordination meeting with District Medical Officer, District Surveillance Unit and Administrative officers to review the preparedness in the wake of Novel Coronavirus (nCoV) outbreak in Wuhan city of China at DC’s Conference Hall today.
While discussing the preventive measures with District Surveillance Unit, the DC directed the District Medical Officer to circulate Dos and Dont’s, travel  advisories and guidance documents to all Medical Officer In-Charges and Administrative officers to  spread more awareness about Novel Coronavirus in their respective areas. He also directed DMO to set up  a designated Control Room  to respond to queries on Corona Virus in the district.
District Medical Officer Dr.(Mrs). Subu Tasso Kampu also stressed upon the need for spreading more awareness on precautionary measures on Novel Coronavirus.
Meanwhile Epidemiologist DSU Yupia, Ili Angu gave powerpoint presentation on Novel Coronavirus. DIPRO
