ITANAGAR, Jan 6: The 4th edition of the Pakke Paga Hornbill Festival 2019 will be held from January 18 to 20 at Seijosa. The festival is the lone conservation festival in the state which aims to conserve wildlife especially Hornbill, in Pakke Tiger Reserve in Pakke Kessang district.
The three-day event will witness tourist activities like jungle safari, trekking, butterfly walk, river walk, bird watching, wildlife photography competition, elephant safari, historical site sightseeing, workshop on organic dye, traditional games and sport, etc.
Speaking at a press conference at the Arunachal Press Club here today, the festival’s organizing secretary Basang Wahge informed that this year they have introduced Pakke Paga beauty pageant contest to involve youths in conservation efforts.
