SEIJOSA, Apr 29: District Administration Pakke Kessang is all geared up for post lockdown and has designated the forest guest house under Pakke Tiger Reserve at Seijosa as quarantine center.
“We are all prepared for the post lockdown," said Additional Deputy Commissioner TR Topu. He also added that authority has designated forest guest house as the designated isolation/ quarantine center for the stranded people coming from outside the state. Besides forest guest house, we also have circuit house of Public Works Department, informed the ADC.
As per instruction stranded people have to undergo screening process at Police Training centre(PTC) Banderdewa thereafter they have to follow quarantine for at least 14 days in the designated quarantine facility in the district.
As of now we have at least 20 beds available but if needed we will increase the limit as per the necessity, he said.
While responding to the fund arrangement, ADC informed that they are managing locally, and hoping to get the required fund for the management all the quarantine centers.
Elaborating about the center, Medical Officer Dr.Kobmen Zirdo informed that stranded people will be accommodated in different rooms as per their travel history to Red, Orange and Green Zones.
Besides, there will be a medical team round the clock to examine the health of the people in the quarantine center, she added.
