Seppa, Jun 23: P Pravimal Abhishek has taken charge as the Deputy Commissioner of East Kameng. 
The newly appointed DC convened an emergency meeting on Tuesday with the District Surveillance Unit, HoDs and officials on Covid duty to review the preparedness of the district. Assessing the preparedness and the statuses of the check gates, emergency facility and quarantine centres among others, DC urged the health department and concerned officials to remain alert and prepared to deal with any Corona-related exigencies and appealed the district’s people to follow all the Covid preventive norms.
ADC (HQ) Dahey Sangno, EAC (HQ) Ashok Tajo, DMO Dr. Dilip Khunjuju, MS-cum-District Surveillance Officer (IDSP) Dr. Kopi Gyadi and a host of nodal officers present in the meeting shared their views.
As per the health department data, all samples collected from the returnees in the district have tested negative. DIPRO
