TEZU, Dec 15: The Tezu unit of Field Outreach Bureau organized an outreach programme on Swachhta Action Plan at Government Secondary School, Alubari in Namsai district as part of Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM). A mass awareness rally was held and Swachhta pledge was administered by P Sonowal, HoO, FOB, Tezu.
While taking part in the programme as a resource person, BS Mavi of Education department emphasized on maintaining cleanliness during preparation of food and its preservation. He also stressed on proper disposal of waste materials and using dustbins and pits. He in this connection shared some of his personal experiences on swachhta.
A quiz competition on Swachh Bharat and  rural sports competition among the students was the highlight of the day long programme.
