PASIGHAT, Feb 11: Startup India Arunachal Pradesh Yatra program was launched here at state's oldest and premier college, Jawaharlal Nehru College, Pasighat today in the presence of Lok Sabha MP Ninong Ering,  JN College Principal,  Dr.  Milorai Modi, other faculty members amidst participation of many enthusiastic students. 
Organized under the Startup India initiative, the Startup India Arunachal Pradesh Yatra program aims to catalyze the vast entrepreneurial talent present in the small cities in India and enrich the startup ecosystem of the tier 2/3 cities of our country,  said Guneet Malik from Startup India,  New Delhi.  
The Arunachal Pradesh edition of the program will be held in six cities and shall conduct day-long boot camps to identify potential entrepreneurs, who will be offered one day of mentorship and training from industry experts to polish their business pitch to be presented at the Grand Finale event at Itanagar on February 14-15.
The boot camps will consist of workshops from experts such as Abhishek Mazumdar, Founder Logical Indian and Chum Darang, Founder Cafe Chu, presentations focused on disseminating crucial information related to the Startup India Scheme and allow the participants to pitch their ideas to the various stakeholders like incubators, investors, and mentors.
The most promising pitches at the Grand Finale will be incubated at renowned institutions to accelerate their idea into an enterprise, added the team Startup India.
While MP Ninong Ering, who helped the team Startup India to reach out to the state's youths taking state's CM Pema Khandu along to give entrepreneurship avenues to the growing unemployed youths, said that all youths desiring to excel in life need to take advantage of the government of India program initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
