ITANAGAR, Dec 21: The Kampu Hollen orphanage, Seppa is all set to organise a three-day long mega charity event to raise fund from January 10-13 next at Seppa.
Famous singer Zubeen Garg will headline the musical event. Besides, the fund-raising event will host sporting events, cultural programs, literary competitions and an array of entertainment activities for children. 
Interacting with presspersons, founder, Chairperson, Renu Bengde said "through the funds generated from the event, I want to improve the lives of at-risk underprivileged children and provide them with a meaningful life as they grow into self-reliant adults."
“With each passing day number of inmates is increasing and we are facing lots of problems in meeting the basic requirements and to keep KHO running. And after many discussions, we decided to conduct the fundraising event,” she disclosed.
She also informed about her desire to build a school for the orphanage and is currently on the lookout for a suitable plot.
The Kampu Hollen orphanage is a self-sustaining Non-government organisation formed in 2012 by Renu Bengde with the objective to help orphans. Since then, it is serving as a ray of hope for abandoned and underprivileged children.
"Your contribution can make a big change to someone’s life. And the orphans really needs help from the community for their holistic growth,” said J2, Actor, Basni Wesi.
He appealed all sections of society to come forward for the noble cause.
