PASIGHAT, Apr 30: As a continued effort to fight against drug menace in East Siang District and to check inflow of drug supplies through Assam, a joint meeting of Women Against Social Evils (WASE) and Jonai Drugs Nibarani Oikya Manccha (JDNOM) of Jonai, Assam was held at Jonai on Sunday. In the meeting issues concerning drugs affecting youth in particular and society and ways to tackle the menace was jointly discussed at length. From now on both organizations agreed to jointly work on curbing drug menace in Jonai and East Siang areas.
