KHONSA, Sep 25: Organisations of Tirap, Changlang and Longding (TCL) districts today held a candlelight vigil protesting against the brutal killing of Lokhi Wangsu of Naitong village on September 18 in Towang Reserve area of Borduria.
The All Tirap District Students Union, Longding District Students Union, Changlang District Students Union, Wancho Council, Nocte Students Union, and many others spearheaded the vigil which witnessed huge participation from the public including the family members of the victim.
The unions have demanded immediate establishment of high level enquiry committee to investigate and arrest the culprit involved in the cold-blooded murder of Lokhi Wangsu.
They further sought the state government to discuss with its Assam counterpart and stop patrolling of Assam Forest Police and Battalion in the Towang Forest Reserve until the 'Namsai Declaration' is resolved by both the state governments. 
They also appealed the government to provide compensation to the victim family without any delay.
