DUMPORIJO, Jan 12: A man lost his life and several people were injured in a fire accident which occurred today at Fishery Colony, Dumporijo at around noon in which three RCC shops and four residential buildings were gutted. The deceased identified as Banti Das,35 died on the spot.
ADC Dumporijo, B Tawsik along with relief team immediately visited the accident site. The cause of the fire accident is being investigated and loss assessment is being ascertained for immediate relief. Meanwhile victims are being temporarily accommodated at the Inspection Bungalow here.
