ITANAGAR, Oct 5: A man identified as Manpho Lowang was arrested by capital police on Friday for allegedly defaming Minister, Wangki Lowang on social networking site and posting objectionable content against him. The arrest was made following an FIR lodged by the Minister at Itanagar police station on August 10 last.
When contacted, capital SP, M Harsh Vardhan said the accused confessed that he was using a fake facebook account and posted "defamatory" remarks against the Minister. 
The accused was later released on bail, the SP added. Minister Wangki Lowang could not be contacted for his comment.
