Khonsa, May, 13: A training program to impart the  counting procedure details of EVM/ VVPAT/ Postal Ballots/ ETBPS was conducted here at Badminton Hall near PWD Circuit House.
Resource person-cum-EAC Hakresha Kri and two other trainers from the Education Department imparted the training to all the counting officers and staff.
At the beginning of the training programme, a two-minute silence was observed as a mark of respect to the departed soul of Late Rakesh Pangging who was engaged in Suvidha-counting process of the elections.
EAC Kri in his condolence message said that the sudden demise of Rakesh Pangging is an irreparable loss for the district as a whole and education department in particular. DIPRO
