Roing, Mar 6: A training for Presiding Officers and Polling Officers listed for election duty was conducted today on the topic ‘Polling Personnel and Poll Day arrangements’, by the District Election Office, Roing.
DEO Soumya Saurabh, addressing the gathering, advised all to sincerely attend the training and learn the procedures correctly as even a small inadvertent mistake may vitiate the whole election process. She also advised all to contribute towards ensuring a free and fair conduct of elections.
The whole procedure of voting in a polling station was enacted in front of the audience by DLMT Ujum Perying and the election office team, for better comprehension of the trainees.
