TAWANG, Apr 29: Training for election counting was carried out today at DC conference hall here in presence of the district electoral officer Tawang among others. The training was attended by around 150 prospective counting supervisors, counting assistants and attendants. The officials being trained will be engaged on the day of counting which is scheduled on May 23.
In his welcome address to the trainees, DC cum DEO Tawang, Sang Phuntsok congratulated all for their sincere efforts in successful conduct of polling in Tawang district.
District level master trainer Tashi WangchhuThongdok, gave detailed training on the procedures of counting and its formalities through power point presentation. Further hands on training on EVM handling during counting of votes would be given to all in batches. DIPRO
