Tawang, Jun 6: The Principal Secretary(Agriculture Production) Sandeep Kumar and Koj Rinya, Secretary Horticulture, took stock of various facilities operational in West Kameng  and Tawang districts from June 1 to 6. 
During the six-day tour, the duo visited the state hort iculture farm, fishery farm at Shergaon; sheep breeding farm at Sangti; trout farm at Nuranang; walnut plantation at Khartoot etc.
They also  interacted with panchayati raj institution members, self help groups and individual beneficiaries regarding
ongoing centrally sponsored schemes and state plan schemes in presence of officers of concerned departments and encouraged them for undertaking innovative ventures. The Head of the departments of agri and allied briefed the team about physical and financial progress of schemes. 
The Principal Secretary (Agriculture Production) emphasized on proper implementation of the schemes  and timely utilization of funds. He further instructed field functionaries for constant visit to farmer’s field.
