TAWANG, Mar 13: Sector officers for general elections 2019 underwent training-cum-briefing today by the CO(Election) Tashi Wangchu Thongdok and Superintendent of Police Tawang S.S.Kalsi. This was followed by hands-on training on EVM and VVPAT for sector officers by the DLMTs.
DEO Tawang Sang Phuntsok took report from the sector officers about the assured minimum facilities in polling stations under them and recorded the problems placed by them.
In the second half of the day DEO chaired the meeting-cum-briefing of the nodal officers appointed to manage the smooth conduct of elections and informed them about round the clock toll free telephone number 1950 for registration of grievances and complaints related to the election.
DEO besides sharing information about C-Vigil and Suvidha apps   added that persons with disability are to be given special care and a nodal officer for this has also been appointed. DIPRO
