Yingkiong, Feb 24: First phase training of Presiding and Polling officers appointed for upcoming general election 2024 was conducted here at Yingkiong today. A total of 226 officers attended the training. While speaking to the officers, DEO Upper Siang Hage Lailang underscored the importance of role of Presiding and Polling officers  and called upon them to take maximum advantage of the training and also to read the manual carefully in order  to discharge their duties properly during the election. 
Training on overview of role and responsibilities of Presiding and Polling officers was imparted by District Level Master Trainers. DIPRO
