Roing, Apr 10: A meeting with the contesting candidates and election agents of 42 Dambuk ( ST) and 43 Roing ( ST) Assembly Constituencies in Lower Dibang Valley district was conducted today in presence of General Observer Pradeep Kumar Chakrabarty, Expenditure Observer Dr. V. Balasubramanian, DEO Mitali Namchoom and SP Sunil Kumar Sain.
GO explained the rules, restrictions and dos & don'ts to be followed during the last 48 hours before polls and advised all to participate wholeheartedly in conduct of fair and peaceful elections.
The Expenditure Observer clarified the doubts of the candidates and their agents. DEO Mitali Namchoom briefed all on the poll day arrangements in place in the district for smooth conduct of polls.
The polling teams for the 73 polling stations in Lower Dibang Valley have been dispatched to their respective stations. The teams going on foot march to the far flung places have reached their polling stations and are ready for poll day duties. DIPRO
